Task

You will be using your imagination, creativity, and teamwork skills to compose a digital storybook from start to finish. The story should be based on the dreams of you and your groupmates.  You will not just be constucting a narrtive that tells a story in the form of text, but you will be composing a visual that is strong enough to capture the essence of your dreams.

 

• work in small groups, 3-5 students

• collect photographs, they can be taken with a digital camera and/or downloaded from the internet

• individually edit and combine photographs in Adobe Photoshop to illustrate the scenes of your story

• upload all the groups' scene images into PhotoStory 3

• write your narrative

• record one or all of your group members reading the narrative in PhotoStory 3

• submit your final project to the class blog website

Scene one:  It was a cold October night. Abby went to the fridge for a midnight snack, when she noticed a glowing apple.  

 

Scene two:  She took a bite, but it wasnt an apple, it was a time machine! Abby was sent spiraling into a new dimension. 

 

Scene three:  She arrived in prehistoric Pennsylvania, to find cave man Ricky, eager to show her around.  

 

Scene four:  We found a rare species.  The wild dinosaur riding Cynthia, in her naural habitat. We made a hasty escape before she attacked.

Scene five:  Abby quickly awoken. " WOW. that was an intense dream!" she said "I wish I could ride dinosaurs like the wild Cynthia!"
